Art in Schools

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” – Pablo Picasso

Artist-In-Residence Program

Professional teaching artists come to schools to provide hands-on classes for students. These classes can include visual art, theater, literature, and music – providing opportunities for many children to experience different art forms early.

CTAC Scholarship

In addition to in-class workshops, CTAC provides a chance for graduating seniors in Stephens County to apply for a $500 scholarship. These scholarship funds are secured through memberships, donations, and contributions from local businesses, which will assist the recipient in obtaining their educational goals with a visual and performing arts degree. The recipient(s) of this scholarship will receive a $500 cash award to be used at an eligible post-secondary arts program, two-year college, or four-year university within the United States. The scholarship application form is linked below.
