Art in Schools
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” – Pablo Picasso
Artist-In-Residence Program
Professional teaching artists come to schools to provide hands-on classes for students. These classes can include visual art, theater, literature, and music – providing opportunities for many children to experience different art forms at early ages.
CTAC Scholarship
In addition to these in-class workshops, CTAC provides an opportunity for graduating seniors in Stephens County a chance to apply for a $500 scholarship. Funds that are secured through memberships, donations, and/or contributions from local businesses will assist the student(s) in obtaining their educational goals with a degree in visual and performing arts. The recipient(s) of this scholarship will receive a $500 cash award to be used at an eligible post-secondary arts program, two-year college, or four-year university within the United States.
