ABOUT ARTS EXPLOSION:

Arts Explosion (AE) first began around 1991.  Classes were held at the Simmons Center for several years, but once the program outgrew this space, AE was then moved to the Stephens County Expo Center.
AE is an annual program that is held the third week of July.

Originally, Arts Explosion focused on students who had completed third, fourth and fifth grades.  Classes were designed to hold approximately 20 children per class.  In recent years, the AE program has slowly expanded to include not only children, but teens and adults.

Teaching artists engage with students and teach several different artistic disciplines that challenge each person's creativity and imagination. All art is on display at the end of the week for a special Family Night Reception where these young artists get to show off their masterpieces.

Early sign up for Arts Explosion will begin during the month of May.  Limited scholarships are available for students who qualify.
Events are also posted on Chisholm Trail Arts Council's Facebook page... please like us and stay informed!  We hope to see YOUR child at Arts Explosion... thank you for sharing them with CTAC and exposing them to the world of ART!
